    Who is Lookout Books?

In 1992 Saunders Book Company had been working together through a US / Canadian distribution agreement decided to expand with a twist. John Saunders had started a telephone sales company in Canada with much success. This unique expansion and collaboration led to the creation of a joint sales, marketing, and distribution team. Lookout Books is a truly international effort, to share books with schools and public libraries across the United States.

From a very modest start, in 1988, of 6 people we now employ over 150 people across the United States. Over the years we have broadened our relationships with publishers from around the world. Today books from the US to the UK to Australia and places in between, grace our preview program to bring librarians and students alike the very best books the world has to offer.
